MOUNTAIN BIKING: Spruce Creek Preserve

← FL PELLICER CREEK ESPANOLA FL Single Tracks →

Description

The trail is approx. 10 miles of fun singletrack and is open to cyclists, hikers, and equestrians. It can have a lot of sugar sand in the dry season. Some technical areas but most is moderate with a few good up hills. Even though there is a network, locals have cleared a pretty good loop. Most of the ride is in heavy shade.

Directions

Take I-95 to New Smyrna Beach and take SR 44 East towards New Smyrna. Less than a mile, turn left (North) on Sugar Mill Drive, at stop sign turn left on Pioneer Trail. Turn right on Turnbull Bay (If you cross back over I-95 then you have gone to far) and then a quick left on Martin Dairy Road, which is the first dirt road on the left. Continue on Martin Dairy Road for about one mile and park by the trail kiosk and trail loop starts to the left of kiosk going off into the woods.
